Frank has booked the flights for 30 March. Nanny will be driven to Houston the day before and stay the night. Their flight leaves at 2:30 on the 30th and is a straight flight to Boston were we will pick her up. I have the preceding week off to get Nanny settled and get her to her first medical appointments.
Renovation is moving along. I have added more photos under renovation tab. Getting a little nervous but I have pitched in to get it done. Big clean up ahead then move everything in. We will be ready. Nanny has her first appointment on 2 April and we are all set with nurse visits and working on home health. All her records should be at her new doctors office soon so he can have plenty of time to review prior to her getting here. Grass is starting to pop and flower beds are showing signs of life. Think maybe we are moving into spring early this year. It has been colder this year than previous winters but not as much snow. Hope everyone is doing well and we love you all. Till the next post!!!
Had a productive day today. Looks like we will finish a little early which is good. Lots of cleaning up then move in Nanny's furniture. I spoke a little to soon on spring with almost 18" of heavy snow last night. Great cardio work out shoveling the white stuff. Talked with Nanny yesterday and she was worried about her smoking area but I told her that she will be set up with a nice bench in the little shop I have right off the pool deck. She can use this area in the winter (It is Heated) and I am putting an exhaust fan that she can turn on and off with a switch right by her bench. In the spring and summer she will have a nice bench on the pool deck which she will be able to access easily. We live somewhat in the country and our street is a cul-de-sac. Everyone walks there dogs up and down everyday and Nanny was excited about that. She loves to give the dogs in her apartment complex treats. We have a fantastic library here in Hampstead which have tons of audio books. They also have fantastic senior citizens programs, wonderful concerts in the park during the summer and lots of stuff going on all the time. I will update the renovation photos after this weekend as we should be very close to being finished. Good by for now. Love you all. Till the next post!!!!!
